While learning, I kept wondering what were the little things that made award-winning websites feel so polished. The Schema explores the details behind these experiences, breaking down how websites use them aside from just looking cool.

At the time, I kept missing the trains and buses I needed to get to school not because I was late, but because I was trying to miss school on purpose. And I was fascinated by the typography and signage found at these stations, which inspired me to use Helvetica Neue for its clean, timeless feel, along with some bright and saturated colors to make the site more playful and approachable.

Learning through interaction was a core goal of the site. Rather than asking users to read long passages, motion and interactivity was emphasized to make each concept more engaging and easier to retain. The toughest part was carefully balancing interactions that would meaningfully enhance learning with the temptation to just spam interactions and animations simply because they looked cool.
